This document will serve as a certificate of authenticity for the above mentioned item through ASA - Authentication Services Australia and third party professional personnel. It is to our understanding that an autograph collector/fan obtained this signature in what was originally an autograph booklet from that era at the premiere of ‘A Star is Born’ on September 1954 at the Warner Theatre, Leicester Square, London. The inscription reads: ‘my very best James Dean’
It is known by the typical signature style from Mr Dean that his slant, flow, pressure, size and
characteristic formations are in comparison to other various exemplars that we have individually
examined over time within our professional career in relation to this artist. It is our considered
opinion that this signature is genuine.
Therefore this has been assigned a unique identification number of JD53577.
